1. Who This Policy Applies To
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including:
- Fans: Users who purchase coins and send messages to creators
- Creators: Users who receive messages and earn revenue through the Platform
- Agencies: Authorized representatives who manage creator accounts
2. Age Restriction
Yaap is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

Profile Information (Creators/Agencies):
- Handle (unique username)

- Payment card details (last four digits, card brand, expiration date)
- Transaction history and purchase records
Payment card numbers are processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored on our servers.
Communications:
- Message content (text you send and receive)
- Timestamps of messages
- Read receipts and delivery status

- Device type, model, operating system, and browser

- Pages and features accessed
- Time spent on the Platform
- General location derived from IP address (country, region, city)

Important: Message content may be processed by automated systems for safety and compliance purposes. Human review may occur where automated systems flag potential issues or where necessary to investigate reported violations.
5. How Messages and Content Are Handled
- Messages are private by default between participants (the fan and the creator)
- Messages are stored securely on our systems
- We do not publish or publicly display private messages
Automated Scanning: Yaap may scan messages to detect policy violations, spam, scams, and harmful content.
Human Review: Human review occurs only when automated systems flag potential violations, when a user reports content, when required by law, or when investigating fraud.
Creator and Agency Access: If you message a creator, your messages may be viewed by that creator. If a creator has authorized an agency or team members, those authorized representatives may also access messages sent to that creator.
What We Do Not Do:
- We do not sell your message content to third parties
- We do not use your private messages for advertising purposes
6. How We Share Your Information
Yaap does not sell your personal data. We share information only as follows:
Service Providers
- Payment Processing: Stripe processes payments and manages payouts
- Cloud Hosting: We use cloud infrastructure providers to host the Platform
- Analytics: We use analytics tools to understand Platform usage
- Email and Notifications: We use services to send transactional emails
Creators, Agencies, and Authorized Representatives
When you send messages to a creator, the creator and their authorized team can view your messages and profile information.
Legal Requirements and Safety
We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests from authorities, protect safety, investigate violations, or enforce our agreements.
Business Transfers
If Yaap is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you of any such change.

Your personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Yaap or its service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
